From a very young age Kattie was able to experience what great hair can do to make people feel better and more confident. It was then, in elementary school, She decided to pursue her interest in cosmetology by writing her first career day essay on how to become a hairstylist. Now almost 30 years later she is continuing to chase her dreams giving others the feeling of independence and confidence. She wants everyone to experience the thrills of entrepreneurship with the ability to stay connected to current trends, furthering inspiration and skill. Kattie’s goal is to create a space that has all the feelings of a traditional salon with an elevated experience for professionals and their guests.

I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Chicago in 2019 to pursue a path as a Blonde Specialist training under industry leaders and educators to enhance my client experience. In this I found familial friendships with clients that I couldn’t imagine doing this without, a love for Chicago, and quite honestly… some of the best dirty martinis! Following in my entrepreneurial family footsteps, I took the plunge in 2022 to go off on my own as a small business and independent stylist. It was scary and thrilling, and now I can’t imagine things any differently!
